AIMS WIND ACADEMY
After 16 years of our successful AIMS String & Piano Academy, AIMS announces its 1st Wind Academy. A faculty from leading opera houses and some of the most prestigious international music schools offer the opportunity to work intensively both operatic and symphonic repertoires, as well as repertoires for soloists and chamber ensembles.
In the Wind Academy, masterclasses of flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and French horn, as well as chamber music groups will be offered. The AIMS Wind Academy faculty will be:

AIMS STRING & PIANO ACADEMY
AIMS String Academy invites young talented music students from around the world and offers individual and group master classes. This program provides extensive training and guidance for young people, especially those who have little access to skilled professional training.
At the AIMS Academy students receive intensive lessons in violin, viola, cello, double bass, piano, chamber music and chamber orchestra. The classes extend and deepen the training of the participating students under the instruction of highly recognized international pedagogues. Since 2002 about 1000 students from 50 different nationalities have come to the AIMS Academy.
The AIMS Festival is the only pedagogical music festival in the country. Nurtured by the AIMS Academy, the Festival responds to the pedagogical aim of the project: musical interpretation. Therefore, the AIMS Festival, is a wonderful opportunity for young people from all over the world to show their talent to the audience, and for the audience to get to know those students who will surely become protagonists of the most important stages in the upcoming years. The AIMS Festival is also a unique opportunity to listen to soloists from leading orchestras and operas from all over the world, and professors from some of the top international music schools. The high standard of the students, the intensity of the work done during the Academy and the exceptional quality of the teachers result in a unique festival, intimate and of high quality.
During AIMS Festival 2018, students and teachers will offer 42 performances. 23 of them are in classic format, in churches and concert halls. 8 are part of AIMS in the Street, where artists offer their music in the old city of Solsona, and the rest are part of AIMS Social, approaching hospitals, elderly homes, associations for the disabled and mentally ill, drug addicts and private homes.
