Fuminori Tanada

Fuminori Tanada étudie la composition, l’écriture et l’accompagnement à l’Université Nationale des Beaux-Arts et de la Musique de Tokyo avec Yoshio Hachimura et Henriette Puig-Roget. De 1984 à 1987, il est boursier du gouvernement français et admis au Conservatoire de Paris dans les classes de Claude Ballif, Paul Méfano, Serge Nigg, Betsy Jolas. Après avoir obtenu trois premiers prix en composition, orchestration et accompagnement au piano, il suit le cycle de perfectionnement en composition. Pianiste de l’ensemble l’Itinéraire, Fuminori Tanada est très actif en tant qu’interprète du répertoire contemporain.

Parmi ses œuvres, citons : Miroirs, pour douze musiciens (1989), créé par l’Ensemble 2e2m dirigé par Paul Méfano, Chants des Lumières I pour saxophone alto et orchestre (1991), créé par Jean-Marc Pongy et l’Orchestre du Conservatoire dirigé par Pascal Rophé, F pour flûte en ut (1991), créé par Pierre-Yves Artaud, la série des Mysterious Morning I pour harpe (1995), II pour quatuor de saxophones sopranos (1996), III pour saxophone soprano (1996), IV pour deux harpes et ensemble (1996-1997), plus récemment, les Echoing Forest pour clarinette (2007) et Echoing Forest II pour violon et piano (2007), Echoing Waves I pour deux trompettes (2009) et Echoing Waves II pour saxhorn (ou euphonium) et piano (2009). Actuellement, il travaille sur une nouvelle version du Quatuor avec flûte (2001-…) et sur l’extension et la révision en deux mouvement du Sextuor (2007-…).
